Potty training SUCKS!

Potty training sucks! I have been trying to really get on the potty training with Leah. It's super hard though. The lack of communication and the listening is making it very difficult. I have her sitting on the potty (little and big) and she'll sit and sit and sit, but nothing. She waits till I put her diaper on to go. It's so frustrating. Then I have Miss Macie trying to pull Leah off the little potty so she can sit on it. I have never in my life seen a baby do this! lol  She's funny though. I have taken her diaper off a few times just for the heck of it. Who knows maybe we'll get lucky with Macie and get her trained super early. I am hoping Leah comes around. Since summer is coming and she is going to be hopefully going to summer school for 6 weeks we can get something accomplished. My goal was 3 for her now it's 4. I know she can do it, she's super smart but just doesn't listen.

My 32nd Birthday

Yesterday was my 32nd birthday. Geez, where has all the years gone by. This was hit harder it seems because it's been now 10 years since I graduated from college. CRAZY. I still remember college like yesterday. Miss those carefree years...

Anywho..I had a nice low key birthday. Haley and Leah both had school, so I went to lunch with my mom at Olive Garden with Macie. I wanted to say I did something for my self so I went to Target afterwards, but only bought stuff for the house of course. What else is new lol. Mom bought me a cake so the girls and Dave sang Happy Birthday to me. I was so thrilled Leah joyed in. She loves songs, so it was cute she decided to sing to. Macie loved the cake but didn't want anything to do with eating it, just ice cream. Haley of course dove in and ate all her cake and ice cream. That's my girl!! Overall, not a the best birthday ever, but not the worst!

Easter went well this year. The girls all loved their baskets. They each got a big toy, then small little toys, and some snacks. Haley loves chocolate so she got some chocolate bunnies, Barbie and the Mermaid Tale 2, barbie, and La La Loopsy. Leah got Dora Puzzle, chips and teddy grahams, stuffed Donald, little Pooh characters, and Pom Pom's. Macie got cookie monsters, Animal puzzle, books, and puff's. Each girl got a fun bunny and carrot cookie that Lyndsay made. We went to my mom's for dinner and then visited with Dave's dad afterwards.

Macie turns 1!

Baby Macie turned 1 year old on April 7. I can't believe she is 1 already. She is the best baby. Her party went great. I guess third time is not a charm with the whole cake eating thing for us though lol. Oh well, she did eat some ice cream afterwards. Macie did really well with everyone at the house for the part. She does have alittle bit of stranger anxiety, but it's getting better. She loved all her presents. No walking yet for Miss Macie Face. Soon..about 3 steps so far...
