Leah turned 10 months on Nov 1st. I can't believe she's 10 months. She has learned so much in the last two weeks. Two weekends ago, she started to crawl on her hands and knee's and pulled herself up for the first time all in the same day. She has been doing those things ever since. She is now attempting to furniture walk. She will go from the play table to the entertainment center, back to the play table. She's getting there. She's alot more braver and will hold on with one hand, and sometimes with no hands. She hasn't been eating very well lately. It's been about 2 weeks now. Off and on she'll eat well. I really think she's tired of baby food, but won't eat real food on her tray. She'll eat the cherrios, puff's, dried fruit, crackers, cheesy puff's, animal crackers, and regular crackers. I'm having a hard time getting to her eat "real" food. I keep trying. I just want her to eat better then Haley. I'm going to really start offering "real" food here within a day or so. I have been sick, Haley's been sick and Dave was really sick. It's just been difficult to focus on the feeding process of new things when there has been so much going on. Leah is still only taking a 5 oz bottle. I might be able to up it here. Especially since she hasn't been eating well. She still takes her nap about 9:30am till 11am. Then takes another one about 2pm-3:15pm. She has been wanting to go to bed earlier lately. This time change hasn't done well with her. I'm not a really early morning person so she's been getting up like 6-6:30 am. It's hard! She'll go to bed about 8pm and wake then. Which is great sleeping hour's wise, but not for mommy. I had going to bed about 8:15 and waking at 7:15..perfect. Darn time change!!
She's been moved to a size 3 diaper..that was about 1 1/2 weeks into 9 months. She was leaking up the front of the size 2 diapers. She loves her baby doll. It's a purple one and she loves to kiss it and hug it and bite it and throw it haha. She loves Blues Clues now. If I want to calm her down. I put it in and she immdediately starts to watch it and stare.
She now has 6 teeth. She got her two front teeth and then the two beside them at the same time about 2 weeks ago. I think she is working on more b/c she's been super cranky lately.
About 6pm everyday, she gets cranky. It's hard b/c it's b/t dinner and snack. I have been calming her with some juice b/t that time. I have cut out the night bottle. She now only gets 1 bottle before morning nap, 1 bottle before afternoon nap, and 1 before nighttime. It's been working out very well. I will start mixing 2 % milk with 4 oz's of formula next month.
Overall, Leah is a great baby. She's happy and loves to talk. She's everywhere. She is curious about everything. She can't sit still!
