Future American Idol or Rock Star?
Haley decided to play with her guitar this morning after finding her guitar sun glasses. She has to wear them when she plays her guitar haha. Then when I was talking to Lindsay on the phone she had to get her microphone out and sing all her songs which include... Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ba Ba Black Sheep, Abc's, Old Mac Donald, Row Row Row your boat and that is all I can think of right now. We HAVE to sing 3 of those song everynight before bedtime along with a bedtime story. Our bedtime routinue has gone from 5 minutes to like 15 minutes in the last month. At least she's not crying anymore! That is all I care about. :)
Two 3 years olds + Two 8 month pregnant girls = EXHAUSTION!!!!
Yesterday, Lindsay and Emily came over for a while to play and ate lunch with us. We let the girls play and do their own thing while we chit chated of course. The girls played really well together. They both ate their grilled cheese sandwhiches, grapes and doritos for lunch. Haley showed me she could eat just like Emily yesterday haha. They both colored dinosaur pictures for their Daddies. They were very insisted it had to be dinosaurs to. haha. They played ring a round the rosies and I got the first picture of them doing it in action. I thought it was a pretty cool picture! When it was time for them to go, Emily went behind the recliner in the corner to hide b/c she didn't want to leave. I cleaverly said, "Emily don't you wanna see the dinosaur outside?" That got her out of the corner haha. Haley had so much fun with her like usual. They made a total mess upstairs and downstairs, but it's worth it for some peace while they are playing and some adult conversation. I don't know why after they left I was so exhausted when I didn't do anything but talk haha. Thank goodness Haley is sleeping much better now. She only woke up 1 time last night b/c of her music box falling on the floor. I feel much better today and have gotten a ton of stuff done. Now, I just have to get the energy to bath Haley. I can't wait till she can do it herself. It's just one thing I hate to do. I don't know why, but I do! I can't wait till Dave is home to share the responsiblities of it. I already told him come Sunday, we are taking turns again. No if and's or but's about it!!!
I can do it myself mommy!
Haley got this elmo puzzle for her birthday this year. Before my mom left, Haley and her were doing it all the time. Well, I was talking to Val (Dave's sister) on the phone last saturday and she said she was going to do her Elmo puzzle herself. So, I turned around and she had put it together all by herself. I was so proud of her!! She's such a smart little thing. She put the box up to look at the picture while she put it together just like grandma showed her to do. These are great puzzles. They are all 3+. She has a Dora one and Jasmine one to.
Daddy and I
Last weekend Dave was home for about 20 hours or something. The ship pulled in about 12:30 Saturday morning. It was suppose to pull in on Friday night, but Dave had duty anyway. I guess the fog and the rain was to bad for them to see where they were going. So, we go to see Dave for a little bit at least before he pulled back out on Monday. We did a little running around. We got a Christmas tree! We only had a 3ft one for the last four years. We are never here for Christmas so we never needed a big one. On Sunday mornings, I love looking at the sale ads, and saw a pre lit 6 1/2 ft one at Rite Aid for $40. I was so excited! So, we ended up getting that one. I'm sure it's not the fullest one out there, but we don't need a huge one. This one will due for the next few years. So, afterward we just relaxed the rest of the day and spent time as a family. Haley was very excited to see her daddy. She knows when he's home. She wakes up and calls for him or just won't leave him alone. He'll be home again in a day or so and will be home till Jan!! Yeah!! I'm excited to have some help. We will be getting the babies room all moved around and I can start decorating. Jersey was excited to of course for her daddy to be home. She won't leave him alone either. She has to get all her toys out to show him. :)

Baby Update
I know everyone has been wanting a baby update so here goes! Dave took this picture on Sunday for me. I haven't had anyone here to take pictures. It still shocks me to see myself in the mirror and especially in pictures. I'm huge!! My clothes are slowly not fitting anymore. My medium winter shirts that I used with Haley are getting short. So, I have had to be creative with my entire as of late. I am secretly borrowing things from Dave haha. I had to wear his Ohio State sweatshirt today b/c it's so flipping cold here! It was 45 degrees!! We even saw flurries on the way home from dance class today. I don't have any coats that fit so I have to keep warm somehow. I had to make a desperate call to Lindsay today to see if she had any shirts she has outgrown. She is suppose to go through her closet today and let me know. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I still have 7 more weeks!
I had my dr's appt yesterday. I'm measuring at 33 weeks, and I'm 32 weeks. Leah's heart rate was 152. The dr said her heart rate was nice and strong. I had to take Haley to this appt b/c I didn't have anyone to watch her. She did really well though. I even scheduled my c-section date!! Yeah!! Jan 5th, 2009 is the day. I have a pre-op appt on Jan 2nd at 10. Then my surgery will probably be around 9 or 10 am. on Jan 5th. I am the second one scheduled as of right now. I hope to be able to meet the dr on Jan 2nd. They said I should beable to. The dr's list wasn't out that far ahead, but at least she was able to schedule it. She also told me the baby is not completely head down yet. She is head down but not in my pelvis. Her butt was on the left side of my belly button and her feet were in my ribs. She said that could all change still. Which, last night she had already moved. She was totally opposite of what she said. So, we'll see what happens at the time of delievery. I have an ultrasound for Dec 4th still. I'm so excited to see how much she weighs. I think she's still big. We also decided on a middle name for her. Leah Grace will be the name. Haley keeps thinking we are saying "Leah Grapes" haha. Oh well. It's better then boogier! haha. That's about it for now. Dave is gone again and will be back at the end of the week. His grandpa had a small heart attack yesterday so we are all worried about him and hoping he is doing okay. As for me, I'm doing okay. Haley still isn't sleeping well. We had a really long day yesterday b/c she got up at 5 a.m. when Dave left and wouldn't go back to sleep until after 7. Plus, she had woken up at least 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night. I'm not sure what is going on with her sleeping again. I'm exhausted though. I haven't felt so tired in the last few days in a long time. I hope it ends here soon! That's it for now!

Sleeping baby
I love taking pictures of Haley when she's sleeping. We have had a really rough week this week. She was sick a few weekends ago and seems to not have gotten over this cough. She's been waking up all week 2 or 3 times a night just coughing and turning on her music box. Being 32 weeks pregnant is not helping the situation for me either. I feel bad for Haley b/c I know yet again she's not getting much sleep. So, I laid her down yesterday for her nap and she didn't go to sleep until like 3:30 and she was fast asleep when I woke her up an hour later. I can't let her sleep to long b/c she won't sleep at night. She looked so precious when I went in there all cozy. She was a bear when I woke her up though. She was crying and not in a happy mood. I think she was defintely just tired. She is still going to bed at 9 and now has to have 1 story read to her and three songs sang to her. We are done with the phase of crying before bed...thank god! It was a horrible phase that I was tired of the first night it happened. I knew once mom left and Dave was gone for a while I could get her back to normal. I just hope this coughing thing stops soon. I really need sleep and so does Haley.
painting Haley's nails
Thursday night we decided to do our nails. I had promised Haley a while ago I would repaint her nails and toes nails. It had been awhile since I had done them. So, I got out the really pretty pink I had bought for the wedding last month. They actually turned out really nice. I told her don't move and she laid on her couch for a while and didn't move an inch. Normally we get it all over the place b/c she can't sit still. (Brit it's funny we had the same idea) :)
Boo Boo
Thursday Haley was playing in her room and she was trying to open her closet doors. I had run downstairs to put baby clothes in the washer. (Yes, I actually started doing them!) Then I hear her screaming. I ran (well as fast I can now) up the stairs to see what happened. She had pinched her little finger and hand in the door. She was so upset. I put a wet washcloth on it and it held it on there and held her. She was so funny she said that in her bathtub she will wash away her boo boo. haha. She always thinks you can wash boo boo's away. So, the rest of the morning I heard about her "boo boo."

CRAZY
I took a picture of Haley's shirt before we left for our errands for the day and her dance class. I thought it was appropriate to wear her "DANCE" shirt to dance today. She was just acting all silly to. We ran to Books a Million today. She picked out like 12 million books, but settled on 1 Dora Saves the Snowy Forest and an Ariel dress up magnetic tin thing. She loves both of the things. She had a gift card from her dance friend Lily. Thanks Lily!
More hair pictures
I thought I would post these picture I took of her hair tonight after her bath. It was straighter after getting her hair blown dry. I can tell a difference more now after seeing it wet and dry now. I can't wait till her hair thickens up more. The hair cut girl said it should be soon b/c she cut off the baby hair. Plus, the hair was two different colors at the end which was weird b/c the baby hair was lighter. Haley's hair was like black when she was born. Interesting! I wonder what color hair Leah will have. Dave and I said we both won't be surprised if she's red headed or even blond, but were thinking dark hair either black ( like his) or brown (like mine). I'm hoping on a blue eyed girl again. We were trying to do the genetics to see what the real chances are for dark eyes, and it's pretty slim, even though I have dark eyes. Our whole families eyes are light. On both sides that is. We'll see though!

Things that have happened since Dave's been gone this time...
I was about to go to bed but decided to write this blog really quick. I thought you guys would like to know that everytime Dave goes out to sea for whatever amount of time something always happens. When he's home we have a boring life seriously! So, let me start with spiders. Before he left we were getting some spiders b/c of the Northeaster that was off the coast. It was wet and cold. Yuck, well I saw them coming in from the back door literally. Well, today I ended up killing like 4 of them in my house. Yes, 4 of them. I was so freaked out that I decided to get out my Home Defense spray and went outside to spray the door ways. Well, as I trying to get the nosal thing to work, I hurt my finger on the nosal and it started to bleed. Only me this happens to. So, I got that taken care of and the nosal thing up and sprayed alot. What comes out of the cracks outside a HUGE spider again. I just kept spraying it and spraying it. I hope it was goner b/c I didn't stick around to see what happened to it.
Last night, I had a infestation of crickets in the house. I know they are suppose to be good luck or something but I don't care. I was watching my shows (which seems like I never get to do anymore) and I look over on the arm rest of the recliner I'm sitting on is a cricket. It scared the crap out of me. I ended up getting it and then I saw a huge one coming through the crack of the back door as I was walking to depose of it.
Earlier today, when I saw my first spider of the day I was trying to get it and it crawled underneath our washer. So, I have yet to find that one. I came downstairs to get a snack while General Hospital was on and found a HUGE spider in the kitchen and then later another crawling on the back door.
Yesterday, I was doing laundry and closing the laundry door and the laundry door falls on me. Yeah, it literally fell on me. I had to call my good old neighbors Carolyn and Pete to come rescue me from the door. Pete fixed it right up and it's working again.
These are just many of the weird things that happens when Dave's gone. I still have a week till he gets home what else can happen??

Haley's prize
Haley picked out these ceramic monkey's that came with 4 colors of paint and 1 paint brush. It was only a $1. I told her she could pick a toy at Dollar Tree, but she wanted these monkeys to paint. So, we got home from our errands and she went to town on them. I think they are so cute! I'm not sure what we'll do with them, maybe put them in her room or something. I want to put the date on the bottoms for a keepsake to. Haley's acting like a monkey in the bottom two pictures. She was such a good girl today. She's starting to act much better when we go out to stores when not riding in the cart. She'll stop to look at things, but after I call her 2 times she'll come with me. It's not 1 time though, it's normally 2 haha. We got Leah's letters for her room today. I'm going to paint those and I also got heart shaped wooden thingies to paint to.
Baby update: I haven't done really anything to Leah's room yet. I'm still waiting for Dave to be home for more then 5 days in a row. So, we are planning to start moving this room around over Thankgiving. I just got some baby laundry detergent to start washing the babies clothes. I think I still have plenty of time and you don't want to do anything to early either. I did buy some pacifiers the other day. I'm debating on what bottles to get. I want to nurse this time around defintely, but I don't want to take away the experience of anyone else feeding Leah either. So, I plan on pumping to so I can freeze the milk. I know that Dave would be heart broken if he wasn't able to feed the baby along with other people (grandma, may may, papa etc...down the line) I will only do formula if I have to. I'm crossing my fingers my milk supply will be better this time around. I'm getting nervous about the deliever. I'm going to have another c-section. It's not set, but the earliest I can have it is Jan 5th. I want to be much more prepared then I was last time. ( I had to have an emergency c-section with Haley after finding out she was breech and I was 9 cm dialated.) I want not to be so drugged up this time around. I was so doped up last time that everyone was afraid I would drop Haley if I would hold her. I also didn't get to try to nurse her until like 1 day after having her. It was just not good. I don't want that to happen this time around. I want to be able to nurse right away and be aware of everything I'm doing. I'm just hoping the pain isn't going to get in the way. Those are some of my concerns right now being 7 1/2 weeks away from deliever. Yep, 7 1/2 weeks!! Wow, I can't believe how fast it went. As for how I'm feeling, I'm feeling pretty good. My back is what is bothering me. I'm not use to this extra 30 + lbs (yep, again I have already gained the max. of weight, lucky me, I think I'm just meant to gain a lot of weight with each pregnancy.) I honestly still think I'll be having a 9 lb baby. I will honestly be surprised if she's less than that. With Haley being 8 lbs 13 oz's and 20 inches long. I'm thinking this baby will be over 9 lbs and longer than her. We'll see though..
My backs been hurting if I stand for a long time or cook dinner and then do the dishes right after. I have to just lie flat on it and it will stop hurting. Other then the normal being tired and not getting up as fast or moving as fast as normal, I'm doing pretty good. Now, if I could just get my husband to be home to help me do stuff around here everything should be good!

Haley's first Haircut
Today I decided that it had to be done. Haley's hair was just way out of control. So, I took her to get her haircut for the first time. I just took her to Hair Cuttery. I knew they would be quick and cheap. We had to wait like 10 minutes before there was somone available but we got in and out pretty quickly. The girl who cut her hair was pretty young. She told Haley to come right back and she hoped right up on the chair. She sat their like a pefect angel. I was so impressed I nearly cried!! I couldn't believe she was so good for her first hair cut. I only had her really trim it up a bit and get some of the baby fine hair off the ends. She angled it alittel bit around her face. You can't tell a whole lot it was cut (only if your me of course) but it looks so much better now. She still has her curls to! I was afraid they would be cut off if we cut it to short. Haley got fruit snacks after her hair cut and got to pick out a prize when we went to Micheals for being so good.

Trick or Treat 2008
We had trick or treat on Friday (Halloween). It was a lot of fun. Haley was a puppy dog. She loved her costume. I loved it to, b/c it covered her from head to toe. I just had to put a turtleneck and leggings on her and she was good to go. The weather was really nice about 55 or 60 for trick or treat. Mom, Dave, Haley and I went down our street and went over to the nicer houses in the neighborhood. Haley walked the entire time. I was so proud of her! She did so great. Dave carried her a bit when we walked back to our neighborhood, but it was when we were walking on the busier road sidewalk. We continued down the street next to ours and then went home. We were rounding the houses and heading across the yard to our house and Haley said "I think I'm ready to go home." haha. She had enough walking. Her candy bucket got filled to the brim. Good old mom and dad took care of that situation of to much candy haha. I think Dave has ate more then me! We let Haley have I think 2 pieces a suckers and licorice but that's about it for that night. She's had a few pieces here and there. Her favorite is anything chocolate of course. I did really good walking that entire time to. I was so proud of myself. I didn't poop out or anything. We got back to the house about 7:15 and Dave passed out candy until about 7:45 and we ran out so we turned off the light. I only got two bags of candy this year b/c I knew we weren't going to be at the house long. I can't wait for next years trick or treat! Leah will be able to use the pumpkin costume Haley used for 2 years haha. Well, she might be to small, but she has to be a pumpkin for her first three years like Haley did, it's only fair! :)
Oh yeah, the picture of Haley by the ghosts was her idea. She goes mommy take a picture of me with the ghosts. I thought it was so cute!
