We are having a baby!
Guess who's having baby #3? Yep, me! We found out and were totally shocked! I had never been so shocked in my life! haha Needless to say, we weren't planning baby #3 probably until sometime in another year or two. I will admit my emotions were running high. I was scared b/c I had no insurance, Dave was jobless still, Leah isn't even 2 yet and is such a handful! Mostly, I was scared to tell people, "I'm pregnant, while I was living with my mother." But, after many freakouts we are finally telling everyone our big news! I found out I was pregnant over Labor Day weekend. I had my first Dr's appt and my first ultrasound in September. Our new little peanut was 8 weeks 3 days at the time. I just had another appt yesterday and the heartbeat was 165. First thing I said was..it's a another girl! Dave swears it will be a redded girl. So, we will see. I was having boy vibes..probably because that is what we were hoping for, but honestly, just a healthy baby is what we want. We'll find out in about 2 months what we are having. My scaredness (if that is a word) has totally turned into excitement! I'm really excited for the baby, I'm even excited to wear cute maternity clothes. Thanks to my friend Lisa, who had a billion very cute maternity shirts she gave me. I'm gonna be styling!!! I'll keep you all update on the baby and what is it question?

Loss of an old friend
Two weeks ago I got a really disturbing text from an old friend from college. A mutual friend that we knew from college was in the hospital. She told me that he just found out he was HIV positive and it had turned into AIDS..he had 1 day to live. I was in totally shock. It was 7 am in the morning when I received this text message, and I certainly couldn't sleep after that. I hadn't seen Terry since my friend (who told me about Terry) Steph's wedding in 2003. It had been a long time since I had heard from him, but within the last year found him on facebook. We had reconnected through facebook. He use to leave words of advice about my kids, even though he didn't have kids, but things that worked for his sisters and their kids.
Throughout that week, I thought about Terry constantly. He was so bad off by the point I found out, that he was on a ventilator, feeding tube and wasn't even conscience anymore. The disease had crept up on him and he didn't even know he had it. The doctors said he could of had it for almost 7 years. 7 years without knowing..without any medicine that could of let him live a normal life. It's just shocking.
Terry's life style had changed dramatically from when I knew him. He was a fun, energetic person and always had a smile on his face. Plus, he was always trying to find a hot women lol to mac on. I do mean MAC on. Apparently, his taste for women had subsided and he came out of the closet 3 years ago. He was celebrating life with his partner Tim.
Terry passed away on Oct 9th from complications of AIDS and pneumonia. He was only 33 years old. I will always remember Terry for his fun and playfulness. He always was happy, never down. He lived life. One memory, that we always joked about was when I was 18 and a freshman at Mount Union, a group of us, including Terry, had gone to his best friend Jess's parents house for a halloween party. Apparently, Jess's parents weren't keen on us staying the night, so we moved over to Terry's grandparents house. Six of us, slept in Terry's grandparents basement. In the morning, while everyone was sleeping, I wandered upstairs and chatted with his grandma and made pancakes with her. This memory Terry use to always bring up and we would laugh about. Terry never missed one of my Mount Union Dance Recitals. Terry and Jess came to everyone even up to senior year
Yesterday, I went to Terry's calling hours in Barberton with my friend Lisa. We were so nervous to go because we hadn't seen our old friends for 7-8 years..basically since college. When we walked in and started to talk to our old friends, things were like old times. We reminisced about Terry and all the good times. There were times I was present and didn't even remember them. I'm so glad we got to remember Terry yesterday all together. He was to young to pass away and especially from such an awful disease. A disease that if he only knew he had, could of been managed and controlled.
To Terry, thank you for the great memories and being such a great person to be around. You will be sadly missed.
(I had pictures I wanted to scan and post on here, but the scanner is not working. I hope to have some scanned and put up soon.)

Haley's Fish Tank
For Haley's big present this year, we got her a fish tank. She was so excited. Dave set it up on her birthday and we got her fish today. The second picture is Haley's fish Skittle. The last picture is my fish Sliver and Dave's fish Molly. Haley picked the fish out they are different breeds of "Molly" fish. This is our first fish tank so we are hoping all goes well. Dave already explained to Haley if the fish is floating face up..it's not good. I wasn't ready to do that....haha. I think the fish tank turned out awesome. I love the rocks. Haley picked out a turtle and the barrel thing is suppose to spit bubles out, but we have the wrong filter right now for that. Leah likes to point to the fish but we are afraid she'll start banging on the tank. I think she said "fishie" to. Wish us luck on our new adventure! :)
Haley's 5th Birthday Party
Haley had an awesome 5th Birthday Party on Saturday. Everything was perfect and no drama!! YEPPIEEE!!! Alot of people came we hadn't seen in forever to! Lyndsay did her cake again this year. Her theme was Princess and the Frog. The cake was great and so was the food. Haley had tons of fun with all her little friends. She got to play with Paris, Landon, Ember and Ava. Then later she played with her cousins. She got a ton of gifts..clothes, a band set (thanks Papa and May May alot haha), Barbie and the Fashion Fairytale movie, Maraduke, Dinosaur Leapster game, puzzles, lunch box, La La Loopsie doll, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue..that's all I can remember right now. She is such a lucky little girl. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures b/c I was so busy running around talking and chasing Leah. She had a great party though and was so happy for everything!
