*Hopefully* on the road tomorrow

Tomorrow hopefully, we will be able to get on the road to Va Beach. Mom came down with a nasty cold today. She went to the doctor and got a shot and antibotic. As of right now, she's not doing well, but I'm hoping she'll be feeling better in the morning. We will be playing it by ear. So, that put me so behind today. I had to load everything and pack everything while watching the girls. It was tough! I'm so exhausted myself b/c Leah was up at 6 am. I'm just hoping she's going to sleep tonight. I have a long drive tomorrow. We won't have internet in Va, so there might not be any blog posts for 6 weeks. I'm going to try to figure out this WI FI stuff with mom's laptop, but I'm not promising anything. If not, Have a Happy Easter all my blogger people!

Eye on the prize..

I was packing in Leah's room and turned around and their she was doing this under her bed. She was under her bed trying to get her many pacifiers that have fallen haha. She always has me on my toes.

Packing attempt #2..

Okay, everyone probably saw my Facebook status..Leah fell down the stairs yesterday. I was so upset with myself. I had blocked off the hallway and she got through. It was a really really bad judgement on my part to do that. She is okay though. I was afraid she had broken limbs or neck. Thank goodness she's fine. I will NEVER ever block her off like that again. Thank you to all your mom stories btw of your kids doing the same thing. It really helped me feel better that I was wasn't a horrible mom. The worst part was telling Dave. I know he was pretty upset but I tried to assure him she was fine. Luckily, I have a pretty hard headed booger baby. She cried for all o 5 minutes and then wanted to wiggle down and start playing again. I wish I was like that! So, today I attempted again to pack for her. My mom took Haley to Kohl's and Olive Garden for lunch and I kept Leah. I made sure the door was securely closed and got her packing down. Thank goodness! Just little things now need to be packed and the last minute things of course. Then we'll be ready to go back to Va. Haley is more than exciting to go back and play with her friends Ellie and Lily.

Lovin Cheesy Puffs

My girls LOVE cheesy puffs. Leah would probably eat them all day long. Haley asks for seconds when she has them for lunch everyday. I must admit they are pretty darn yummy!! Leah just shovels these things in her mouth. She'll eat every last speck off her try to. That makes for one very cheesy baby!

What a beautiful Day!

We had a such a fun day today. I took Haley to story time today at 11am. She LOVES going there. She met two new friends Azura and Olivia there. Azura gave her best friend necklace last week. It was so sweet of her. Of course, I forgot to put it on her today! Afterwards, we met Olivia and her mom Angela at Tigertown. Haley kept calling it "Cougartown!!!" I was just cracking up because I LOVE that show!! haha Anyway, we played there for two hours! It was so beautiful. I love that we went at 12pm and there was all kids Haley's age or younger. Papa met us there after a little while to. We came home and had a little rest and General Hospital time. (While we were gone, my mom stayed with Leah so she could take her afternoon nap) Leah woke up at 2 and Papa came over to visit for a while. After GH, we went outside and played for another hour before dinner. The girls had so much fun. The grass was finally not wet so I could have Leah walk on it. I just let her walk all over the grass. She was feeling it and trying to get leaves. It was neat seeing her explore things for the first time. Last spring, she was a baby baby. She just sat in the stroller. It will be so much more fun this year. They both swung on the swing set. Haley loves pushing Leah. I think Leah goes higher on the swing then Haley haha. She just giggles and giggles. I just love this weather. I hope we get one more good day before it starts to rain!

Booger Baby in action..

These aren't the most flattering pictures of Leah haha..but I want to show her daddy what she's been doing. She loves to hide behind her piano mirror. She goes and sits behind there and watches tv or talks and uses her hands. She loves to stroll her stroller and then it gets stuck haha. She is just such an adventurous soul..always on the move only sitting for a few seconds here and there. She loves to climb now. We are always getting her off the table or Haley's couch b/c she climbing to get something. I have my hands full at this age!

Older but goodie

A few nights ago, Haley and I found two of my old Strawberry Shortcake records. My mom has an old record player in the living room still. So, we sat and listened to both of the stories. It was so neat listening to them again. Strawberry Shortcake looks so different now. It's like she got a makeover haha. I still have all these old records. I have Popples, Sesame Street, and Rainbow Bright. It's neat that Haley got to see how I grew up listening to things.

Mommy and Haley Day

Haley and I had mommy and Haley day today. It was very much overdue. She got really sad last night b/c she thought I loved Leah more than her. It was a really sad thing to hear. It was really weird b/c it was right after we played for about an hour after her bath. I had to explain to her that I loved her just as much as Leah. That she is my big girl and she is more self sufficient now then Leah. I have to watch Leah every minute to make sure she doesn't eat anything. I just reassured her that I loved her so much. So, I decided that she needed a day with me. We first went to IHOP for breakfast. It is our special breakfast place with Daddy. Haley had a create-a-face pancake and white milk. She tried to talk me into a sundae for dessert haha. I had to put my foot down for that :) I almost caved though haha. Then we went to the mall and she played in the play ground area. She was having so much fun playing with ALL the kids. She was the social butterfly of the play area. When we left, she had announce she was leaving and hugged all the kids. I have a feeling she'll be running for class president someday. We then walked down to the see the fishes. As we were walking, she saw the mannequins in Old Navy. She's like there are those talking people. I said oh that is Old Navy. She says..oh yeah, that is store only for Old people. I was nearly peed my pants at that one hahaha. When we got down to the fishes, we saw this really cool zebra looking fish. She informed me that it was a lion fish and that Daddy told her that. I said when did Daddy take you here? She said when she was two. I'm like how and the world did she remember that? Well, as we were leaving the fishes, Dave called and confirmed that she was there when she was two with him. My daughter has a photographic memory sometimes. It's crazy! I don't see any dementia in her future. We then walked back down to Target and got some fruit punch and walked around. The bathing suits are on sale there so we picked up three different ones. One is a monkey two piece but a long top so it looks like a 1 piece. Then another princess one and a yellow 1 piece that is actually to small. They were $8 each. I had just gone to Target last week and got her two and they weren't on sale. So, I am definitely taking back those ones! We of course had to look at toys. I was so excited to see one of my favorite toys when I was a kid..Rainbow Brite! I had to take a picture of it. Haley talked me into a sand stuff iguana. It's so cute! We had a great day and I'm so lucky to have my little girl.

Playing dress up with my girls

After bathtime last night the girls and I played dressed up. Haley hasn't been playing with her dress up clothes to much. I think it's b/c I put them in her closet in her room at my mom's and she doesn't see them. So, I got them out and decided the girls needed to pretend a little. They first were chefs. Leah was so funny with the hat on. Haley then decided she need to get married. I told her marry Ken..she said he was to short. I said well, do you have something against short people..she's like NOOO! haha. So, I agreed to marry her. We had a short ceremony. They played with sunglasses. I didn't get Leah with them on but she was walking around with them on like she didn't even care. It was so cute! Finally, Leah was sleeping beauty. Not so much a sleeping beauty though haha. But, we are getting better at the sleeping thing.

Leah's last bottle...

The night has come that I decide to take away Leah's last bottle. There are many reason's why, but if you can see these pictures..this is why to. Leah won't sit still to have the bottle and would rather walk around. It's pretty funny watching her try to drink and walk at the same time. I was very sad to see the bottle go, but happy to move on to another stage..toddlerhood! Welcome to toddlerhood baby!
