Carpis, Indians and dollhouse

Haley is here in her new capri and shirt we got her for her birthday. I love this outfit. I got it at Kmart for like $3 or something. It had been really warm here still like 85! It has cooled down here considerable the last couple of days. It's nice though. I was so sick of the warm weather. Haley has Dave's Indian's hat on in the one picture. We watched the Inidan's loyally in the playoff's. Haley was even saying "Go Indians!" She liked watching them. We are sad they didn't make it to the World Series, but it just wasn't their year.
Haley insists on us playing with her dollhouse to. She loves it. This dollhouse is for 2 + years. It comes with a mommy, daddy and baby. It has furniture rooms you can buy separately for it. I'm planning on getting her some rooms for Christmas. IT even has a little potty that goes with it. Of course, the Daddy is always on the potty haha.

Ariel Tent

Haley loves her new Ariel tent she got from Ava and Ember. She always wants Dave and I to go in there with her. This is a weird picture but here is Dave and Haley in the tent. I have better pictures of her in the tent on my other camera. It's downstairs though. I'll post them another time. Dave is so tall, that if he sits in there he takes up the whole tent. So, he opts to lay in it with her. Haley kind of gets scared. I think she has a phobia with not enough personal space haha.

Barbie Purse

Haley got a really cute Barbie purse, necklace and bracelet for her birthday this year from her Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bob. All last week she was carrying it around playing with each of them. Now, we lost the bracelet! hehe. I'm sure it's somewhere around here.

Danielle's wedding

The main reason for going to Ohio last weekend was b/c my friend Danielle from college was getting married. I didn't want to miss her big day. I feel like I have been through al ot with her and I'm so glad she has found herself the right guy for her. She looked beautiful! I unfortately didn't get really good pictures at the wedding b/c I couldn't see anything. There were a lot of tall people in the way. So, here are a few from the reception. The wedding was at St. James Church in Warren and reception was at Grand Pavilion in Avalon. It was a really nice reception. A sit down dinner and all! Here is another friend from college Jamie and her boyfriend Mike. They both graduated from Mount Union.

Leaves and Pumpkins in Ohio

Haley loved playing outside at mom's. She was running around in the leaves and the grass. She would pick up the leaves for me or grandma to hold for her. I remember when we first came back to Ohio right after Dave left for deployment she picked up a leaf and said "dada." She loved leaves there. Unfortuately, we don't have many on the ground here. I love Ohio in the fall. Haley loved my mom's halloween decorations outside. We really got into the Halloween spirit this year. I always loved Halloween. I guess I love pumkins just like Haley. She loves them. She points them out everytime we drive. She goes "Pumpkin's mommy, Pumpkins."

Wagon

The wagon is another one of mom's garage sale steals. It's really nice. Haley loved it right away. I pulled her around the whole yard. Then Dave pulled her around for a long time. Then she wanted me to get in with her. I put my big butt in it and got pulled around to haha. It was fun though. It's really fun to see her face with new things. We pulled her to get the mail the other day in it. It's another great garage sale find by my mother!

Jason's horse

When Dave's sister Jaime was moving out of her apartment, Dave's dad found this rocking horse that use to be Jason's. He decided to give it to Haley. It makes noises and everything. It's a really cute horse. She is just a little bit little for it. She fell off of it once. It scard her and me. She likes it though. Thanks Papa!

"Andy's Car"

My mom bought this car at a garage sale this summer for Haley. Haley's friend Andy has the same one. Well when she saw it the first night we came home to Ohio, she was like "andy's car!" She loves it. She played with it in my mom's living room while we were home. I put it outside but haven't took her outside yet since we have been home. It was a real find. I think this car is normally like $50. She got it for like $5.

Haley's Ohio Second Birthday Party

We had Haley's Ohio Birthday Party on Sunday. It went rather well. We had a huge turnout. It was probably like 10 people more then last year and I thought last year's was huge. Haley was pretty shy around most everyone until all the babies came. She had a good time playing with Ava and Paris. She LOVED Ember, Landon and Josh. Josh is her second cousin. She thinks she should pet babies and hold them. I don't think she knows how little she really is haha. Haley tried to get into the presents before we were ready for her to open them. I got a picture of her sneeking into them. The food turned out great and so did the cake. We had just enough food and cake for everyone. It's a good thing, b/c mom would of been stuck with the leftovers. I loved Haley's princess cake. It turned out so nice!! She even blew out her # 2 candle. I was in utter shock!! I got it tapes and will try to post it soon. Haley got a lot nice presents including her Ariel doll, Jasimine doll, clothes, Ariel tent, princess plateware, socks, etc. Thank you all for thinking of her on her special party day. I was just so shocked on how many presents she got and how much people really love my daughter :) Overall the party went great! I realized I never got a picture of Haley and I or Haley and Dave or the three of us. Can everyone who was at the party send me their pictures please? I might make a scrapbook of her 2nd birthday. Thanks!

Sunday walk and another walk.

Sunday morning, I decided I need to take a walk. I weighed myself last week and I was disgusted because I had gained 5 lbs since I moved back here in April. I was thinner then I was in highschool, or about the same. I was really upset with myself. So, I decided I need to start walking or working out. So, Haley and I took a walk around the neighbor hood. I think I walked for about half hour or so. We got back and I was getting Haley out and the stuff out and putting her stroller in the van. Well, she started to ring the door bell. Jersey went nuts and Dave had fell sleep on the recliner. Needless to say, he wasn't a happy camper when we got home. Haley had woken up again saturday night. She woke up at 11:30 and Dave was still up watching the Indians game. She didn't go back to sleep till 1 a.m. I have no clue what is going on with her sleeping. I hope it stops though. I'm afraid it will get worse since we are coming to Ohio for those couple of days. I hope not though. I'm sure it will though. It seems like anything messes up Haley's sleep schedule. She took her nap at 10:15 yesterday after we got done with our walk till 12:30. SHe was a pretty crabby camper last night. She didn't wake up last night, but wanted to go to bed at 7 haha. She goes "nap", and I'm like uum, no..way to late for that. She then goes "ni nights?" Everyone knows I can't put her to bed that early. She stayed up till almost normal bedtime. Like 8;45. She got up at 6:50 though today. YUCK! I hate waking up early. 7:30 is bad enough normally. I brought her back in my room and she watched the Wiggles for a half hour, then wanted to go downstairs. AT least I got to rest a little bit longer. Kim and I walked the boardwalk withe girls today and we let them play in the new playground. We went to Kim's afterwards to have the girls play more. I'm happy I met her. She's fun to talk to and hang around. It's nice our daughters are so close in age to. We walked about 42 streets total. I think that's a good walk? haha. I'm trying to get excerise. Wish me luck!!

Emily's party and a BBQ

On saturday, we went to Emily's birthday party. Lindsay had a lot of her family in from Ohio, so she decided to have it saturday instead of on thursday the day of her birthday. Haley was scared when she first got there. I think she was just expecting Emily, Lindsay and Jon, and then all these strangers were there. She was kind of clingy and whinny at first, but then started to play with Emily in her room. Lindsay's friend Beth was there with her little girl Ellie. She's beautiful! She's 8 months old. I was trying to get a good picture of her, but Emily keep getting in the way, or Ellie would turn. Haley loves baby Ellie. She wanted her to wear a necklace, so I got her putting it on her. Emily got a lot of nice things. The mistake was opening her first present which happened to be a baby doll. BIG MISTAKE. She didn't want to open anything afterwards. haha. I don't blame her, but she after about 10 minutes opened other stuff. Haley of course went crazy when she saw the baby doll. Emily wanted to keep sitting on my lap when she was opening the presents. I think she was just comfortable with me still. I'm not watching Emily anymore btw, LIndsay quit her job and got one a daycare with free daycare. Anway, they both shared pretty good with Emily's new toys. She got a cute Cinderella plate and dish set and new play food. Emily kept giving Haley all the food and Haley kept taking a bite of them and putting her mouth on them. I kept telling her to pretend, but she wouldn't listen haha. Oh well, I guess they are semi clean due to being new. Emily didn't like the whole idea of blowing out her candle. She got kind of fussy, but she loved her cake. Haley loved her cake to. It was really good. Lindsay got it from Farm Fresh she said. I will have to remember they have good cakes there. After the party, we went to Bernedette's for a BBQ. It was a nice time. Haley LOVES the girls and Bernedette, so she loves going over there. I always rope Sam into changing Haley's diaper anymore haha. She's 16 what better things does she have to do but get into trouble right? haha. She doesn't mind. She took Haley upstairs to the room she shares with Devon and changed her diaper. Well, they have bunk beds, and when she was getting Haley's diaper out, Haley climbed the ladder to the top! She said it scared the crap out of her. It scared me to when she told me! She said Haley laid down on the bed and went "ni nights!" YIKES! I'm glad she told me at least. SHe was fine. SHe wanted to keep doing it to! I'm such a nervous mom. I am always right there with Haley. I'm always afriad she'll fall on the steps or something. I guess maybe it's about just having your first 1 you always are nervous. That was our weekend!
