Beach time fun...third times a charm.. 6/21/2006

Today was Haley's first time at the beach with her new friend Abigal. They were really cute together. These are my attempts to get them to smile and sit still for a picture. As you can tell, it wasn't working to well haha. I just wanted to show the definte size difference between Haley and Abigail. They looked so cute in there little swimsuits. I think overall they had a good time. I put Haley in the water for the first time. She didn't love it but didn't hate it either. She smiled a few times. We sat right where the waves broke and played there for a little bit. They mostly sat on the blanket and played with her sand toys. It was a really fun day :)

A Harry Potter fan in the making..6/21

Now here is a good picture of Haley smiling, of course she is on the move. This morning I had woke up early and ended up waking Haley up around 8 because I was afriad she wouldn't take a nap before we went to the beach. For some reason, I decided I wanted to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. When Doby came on she wouldn't take her eyes off the TV. It was so funny. I love Harry Potter and I think my daughter does to!

Here's a couple of pictures of Haley playing yesterday. I can't get a good one of her anymore. She's always moving. I had to literally put her in the tub thing to get a picture of her haha.

June 19th...Action Shots.

I thought I would post some of the funny action shots I got of Haley. She would literally turn her head right before my camera would take the picture. I think there is a bit of delay on it to. The first picture I was holding her and I took the picture of just her haha. It was the way I could get the picture of her not moving. Can you see how long her hair is getting. It's like in her eyes if it's not swept out of her face little bit. I'm so excited it's growing.

DA DA and other baby talk

OMG it's been so hard to get Haley to hold still for a picture this past week. She just keeps moving around and playing with one toy then going to the next. I get her to sit and smile and then she moves and I get the back of her head. She has been talking in her own little baby talk these past couple of days. Her new friend Abigal (she's the same age as Haley but much littler, go figure) talks the same language because they can communicate. I wonder if there is something wrong with me that I can't understand it? haha j/k Anyway, Haley is perfecting Da Da. Dave should be very happy when he comes on friday. Unfortunately, Haley missed spending her first Father's day with her Da da (STUPID NAVY), but we'll make up for when he comes home.

Getting Brave...6/17/06

There are a couple of pictures I took of Haley this morning. She has been getting really brave as of late. She's been just hanging on by one hand when she's standing, then taking it off and standing by herself for a couple of seconds. She has been furniture walking more to. She really just started doing that the last couple of days more. The first picture is of Haley saying Da Da. I caught her in the act haha. Oh yeah, Haley and Jersey are playing tug of war with her bone. Haley wants Jersey's bones all the time. She gives them to her to, but then wants them back. Dave would be upset because I didn't wash her hands yet..opps haha.

Haley in the box?? 6/14/06

My daughter is so funny. I had put her Huggies box in spare room to put toys in it while she' snot playing with them. Just to clean up a little bit ya know. Well, she starts playing with the box and dragging it around the whole room. Well, I thought I'll put her in it. She had a ball. She was having so much fun in the box. She just started to play with the sides of it. It was hilarious! Jersey of course had to be in the middle of it to. So, her head is in some of them. Mom don't get any idea's of me sending Haley home in her Huggies box haha. :) OR anyone else at that matter :) j/k

Thanks "Aunt" Lisa!! 6/12/06

Her "aunt" Lisa sent her this yesterday. I love it!! It has a little watermelon on the shirt. It's a 12 month outfit. The shirt fits perfect the shorts are a little bit big, but that's okay. I was trying to get a good picture, but she kept moving around haha. She is a wiggle worm today. That is her middle name. :)

I thought I would take a picture of me and Haley. haha. It turned out pretty darn good if I say so myself. She was smiling to! She loves the camera. She just always wants to play with it. But, mama Katie defintely say's noooooo. :)

A little sleepy

Since it was cold last night, I put a sleeper on Haley for the night. It's been so hot that she's just been wearing a onesie and sleep pants to bed. So, here is a really big sleeper. It's like 9 to 12 month. It's pretty huge on her. That is amazing because most of them were to little on her. They weren't long enough. She is so long!!

June 9th 2006

I took this a couple of days ago. I wanted to show everyone how long she is. I think she is going to out grow her changing table. I have no I idea what I'm suppose to do once that happens? Just change her on the floor? She was kicking her feet like crazy in this one.

Look at this crazy haired baby. She woke up like this and her hair was like sticking straight up. I love it!!

Happy 8 months old Haley... June 8th 2006

This is probably my favorite picture of Haley. I love it! She looks so cute in this. ( Excuse my leg) Today is 8 months old. Time as flown by so much. I weighed her today on my own. I think she was 20 lbs 6 oz's. I don't think that is right, but that my calculations. Happy 8 months baby girl!!!

Haley had a long sleep today. She slept from 8:30 to a little bit after 8 a.m. She was raring to go. That is very unusual sleep for her.

Weds June 7th, 2006

I took Haley out of her highchair and laid her in her play pin. Then a half hour later she cried out. Dave picked her up and she went right back to sleep. She slept through a diaper change and eating a 6 oz bottle.

Weds night

After a rough night of playing, I was feeding Haley her cereal because she was cranky. It was unusually early for her to be cranky. It was only 8:30. (My child goes to bed at 10 p.m., I can't put her to bed then, she'll be up at like 6 am. thinking it's time to get up) Anyway, she feel a sleep while I was feeding her cereal. I couldn't believe it. She had a toy in hand and everything. I thought she really wasn't asleep.

I think the after playing with the egg for a long time, Haley decided her favorite thing was the sink. She just kept turning it on and off. She loved it!

After dinner on weds

After seeing Ava's play kitchen, Mama Katie had to go out and get Haley one. I thought it would be a really easy task, boy was I wrong. This was my first toy hunt. I tried Target and there weren't any. I went to Kay Bee toys out in Norfolk. We went to Walmart. I then decided to just order it online from Kaybee. Well, after ordering it, the next day I go to Kmart and it's on sale for $16.00!!! Yeah, and I payed $35.00 from Kay Bee. It's to late to cancel the order, so I'm hoping to take it back. If not, would anyone like to buy a toy kitchen from me haha.

Weds Evening

My daugther decided that she really doesn't like juice to much. I have tried Apple and Cherry several times and she really wouldn't drink it. I thought at first she was afraid of the sippy cup. Haley loves to play with water bottles, so one day last week in the morning, I decided to let her have a drink of my water bottle. I ended up spilling it all over her!! But, she loved the water and laughed because I was laughing. So, I decided to try water in the sippy cup. That did the trick. Now, she will drink from her sippy cup and by herself! She loves water. She doesn't drink to much of it though. She likes the nipple on the sippy cup alot. It's just like the bottle one, but softer almost I think. She is getting to be such a big girl. I've been trying to get her to hold her bottle, but she doesn't get the grasping of it part. She's growing up so fast. Everyday it's something new.

I had to get a picture of this. Haley ate for the first time her soilds in like over a week. She has been eating her cereals but not her veg and meat well. So, I gave her tomato, macaroni and beef. She loved it!! I even gave her mixed veggies and she ate that to. It just looked like she had a pasta face on, well I guess what she does. It was so cute.

Morning/06/07/06

So, Tuesday night, after making a liar out of me to her aunt Lori and Grandma Gooch, Haley decides she wants to be part of the "I can stand by myself club." We had gone up to the spare room and Dave was on the computer, she just stands up with her toy. She had done it a couple of times but not consistently. She just stood up like three times in a row. So, I got a picture of her doing it in her play pin Weds. morning.

June 6th 2006 / Sock in the mouth?

Haley decided to wake up at 6:15 a.m. today. So, I tried giving her a bottle, she drank a little bit and was wide awake. So, I'm currently trying to make her tired. I was posting these pictures and turned around and saw her doing this. My daughter is so strange sometimes haha. A couple of nights ago she woke up at 4 a.m. and I went down to make a bottle. I come up and see her sock in her mouth and her holding her pacifer. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. This again is the same situation. I think she is defintely teething again.

June 5th 2006

Haley was all happy after Daddy gave her cereal to her. She was bouncing off the walls. She didn't go to bed till 11:30 last night.

Yes, my daughter loves cell phones. Here she is holding my cell phone. 10 seconds later she put it in her mouth. If you notice in the left corner her new Goodnight Elmo book. She loves it! She has Peek A Boo Elmo to. These books are good for her because she likes to grab at the pop up stuff. She laughs everytime she see's Elmo. She loves him. :)

A picture moment

Yes, this is Daddy feeding Haley her oatmeal last night. I had Dave do it because I wanted to watch the last of my show Everwood. It was the series finale. So, I made Daddy do it haha. I walked by to see how it was going and I felt like this was something I wanted to remember for a long time. It was just so cute. He was making like airplane noises and stuff.
