Tree Frog

When I was helping haul the pine branches to the curb I found a little one hiding away. I yelled for Haley and she thought it was so cool! Our very own little tree frog :) We also found some sort of nest. At first we thought it was a birds nest, but we are pretty sure it's a squirrels nest. We heard a angry squirrel yelling at us probably not 10 minutes after Dave had cut down the tree. We took away his home I guess, and he's been giving us HECK ever since. I hear him every time I take the girls out to swing.

Pine Tree and Fence

For of you use to tanning/swimming in my mom's pool back in the day, you will remember the ever growing pine tree. This thing just took off. It took off to much! Part of the old fence had fallen down and Dave volunteered to make a new one, but first mom had asked him to cut down the pine tree. Let me tell you, he was like a kid at a candy store. He is loving being NAVY free right now. He gets to do all these projects. He cut down the pine tree starting with some branches first and then the actually tree with a tiny bit of help from his dad. Haley and I stood inside yelling TIMBER!! He did such a great job!

Getting into mischief..

Leah starting to be a little bugger. She is climbing and standing on things. This is what she learned to do last week. She also likes to climb and stand and let go on her sisters table. We have to keep our eyes on this little one 24/7.

Having some fun!

Haley is so excited to be back to play with her swingset. She wanted to play on it every minute of the day it seems like. She refuses to learn to pump though until she is 5 she says. I tell her only a few more months then she'll be pumping and no more pushing. She just loves to swing and be pushed on the swing. I can wait till she's five to teach her to pump. I don't want her to grow up to fast! She's already getting so big. Half of her jeans I had to put away for Leah b/c they are to small. Thank goodness it's almost summer. I can't take many more growth spurts until she starts school!

Happy 31st Birthday Dave!

Dave turned the big 31 on May 14th. We had ice cream cake. The girls and I got him a huge charcoal girl. It's so cool! Happy Birthday Honey!

Haley's Yellow Lily

While we were shopping for Mother's Day flowers, Haley saw this yellow lily. We were debating on giving it to May May for Mother's Day, then I decided on another flower. Well, Haley begged us to get it for her. She promised she would take care of it and water it. So, we got it for her. We planted it as soon as we got home. She watered it and gave it lots of love. It's doing wonderful! With all this rain we had, it won't need watered for quite some time!

Good Bye Friends and Va Beach...

It's been 6 years in the making...we are finally out of the Navy. We are civilians again!! Wahoo!! We are sooo excited to be home. It's been so nice to be back with our family and friends again. Before we left though, we are able to hang out with some good friends of ours. Haley met Lily and Ellie in her dance class two years ago. They quickly became very fast friends. Leanne, their mom, and I were both pregnant together with Leah and her with Jacob. Yes, Leah and Jacob haha. We are Twilight fans :), but we didn't name them after the Jacob and the Leah. Anyway, we were so sad to leave our good friends. Leanne was the only friend I met my age. She techinically 1 year younger, but close enough. Everyone was always 5 years older or 5 years younger. Haley was so devasted to leave Ellie and Lily. She cried alot before we left and even when we came back because she was going to miss them so much. The girls are now going to become pen pals. Leanne and I promised to keep in touch and meet up next year sometime. I will miss Va..lots of shopping, always something to do, and most defintely the beach. It had been a crazy 6 years...we got married, got Jersey, had Haley..all the first year! We moved from SC to Va..then moved again to Unicorn Dr, had Leah, then moved to base housing, went through 3 deployments...to many trips to count back and forth to Ohio..but finally we are back HOME...HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Mother's Day...

Mother's Day started out really nice. The girls got me two presents and two cards. Haley got me a beautiful necklace that spells out MOM. I love it. Leah got me a huge chocolate chip cookie cake. It was sooooo good! I made breakfast for all of us, especially for my mom for Mother's Day. We gave my mom a nice hanging basket of petunias and potted plant of Dalhia's. I loved color of them. We waited till after Leah's nap and then went over to Dave's Dad's house for a cook out. We had a nice time. Unfortunately, after we came back I was no feeling to hot. I ended up with the stomach flu for two days. Thankfull, all is well now!
