Thought I would post some of my pregnancy pictures since I have a few throughout the pregnancy so far. We took the first one on the day we found out. We kept it to ourselves though for weeks though after this. I swear I was already showing to..I think I was about 5 weeks there, the next I was 14 and the next I was 16 weeks. We find out on Tuesday what we are having! So excited!!! So far, I feel great. Other then being tired, this pregnancy has been pretty good so far. Hopefully, it will continue to be a healthy pregnancy and have a happy, healthy and normal baby!!!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was awesome this year. The girls did so great trick or treating. Haley was batgirl and Leah was super girl. They were my little superheroes. We went out for about an hour and 15 minutes. Leah walked for about 1/2 hour of that time half way down the street. I looked down at her holding my hand and she just looked like a little girl. I was so proud of her. Haley was so super excited to get candy. When did she become a candyholic? She certainly doesn't get it from Dave or I! Both girls got so much candy. I don't give Leah candy, but she did get some pretzels and animal cookies. Our pumkins came out great this year. Haley's was a skeleton. That was pretty darn hard to paint, but I did it. Leah's were ghosts, mine was a spider, and Jersey's was a haunted house. Dave wanted a Redskin's pumpkin. That was the hardest pumpkin I have ever painted. It turned out pretty good, but the feathers were kind of weird haha. We even carved a pumpkin this year. Mom's was a cute funny face. Dave carved it and I think he did a great job.

Dave got a job!!!!

Dave got a job!! We are sooooooo excited about this. It has been so far in the making it seems like. He will be working at Square D. The northeast headquarters is out of Broadview Heights, Ohio. It's about 1 hour exactly away from where we are living right now. He will be commuting right now, but we are probably going to be moving with in the next 2-4 months. We aren't sure what area we want to move to. We like the Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Macedonia, Northfield area. I don't want to move when I'm huge or when it's snowing. I'm so happy for Dave. He'll be doing electrican work just like he's been looking for. He had a good first day and excited to keep learning at his new job! Congratulations honey!!!!!

Harvest Party

Haley's Harvest Party for her preschool was Oct 21st. They all got to wear their costumes. Mrs. Medved Haley's teacher came up to me and complimented me on her costume and how different it was. She said she loves different ones. Most of the little girls were princesses, so Haley being Bat girl was a little bit out there haha. They had a parade around the school, class pictures, the game room which was set up with all kinds of fun games. There was egg on a spoon race, bean bag tose, sack bag race, drawing on pumpkins..etc. Then they got to decorate their own pumkin sugar cookie and eat it. At the end of the day, Haley said "group hug!" with all her little girl friends. She is defintely the leader in her class. I really loved being able to go b/c I got to talk to more of the parents. We just say hi and bye really and I got to know some of them. If I deliever around here, Maddie's mom, is an labor and delievery nurse at Trumbull! I was really excited to hear that. I love meeting new people just like Haley.

Haley's First Field Trip

Haley had her first preschool field trip two weeks ago. It was so fun. She had such a great time. She loves her new friends and plays with everyone even the boys! haha. Dave, Leah and I went to. It was really nice to experience it with the whole family. She went to a pumpkin farm. They did a hayride, pumpkin patch and farm animals. She got to feed a baby cow. :) She picked a little pumpkin out for Leah. What a nice big sister!

We are having a baby!

Guess who's having baby #3? Yep, me! We found out and were totally shocked! I had never been so shocked in my life! haha Needless to say, we weren't planning baby #3 probably until sometime in another year or two. I will admit my emotions were running high. I was scared b/c I had no insurance, Dave was jobless still, Leah isn't even 2 yet and is such a handful! Mostly, I was scared to tell people, "I'm pregnant, while I was living with my mother." But, after many freakouts we are finally telling everyone our big news! I found out I was pregnant over Labor Day weekend. I had my first Dr's appt and my first ultrasound in September. Our new little peanut was 8 weeks 3 days at the time. I just had another appt yesterday and the heartbeat was 165. First thing I said was..it's a another girl! Dave swears it will be a redded girl. So, we will see. I was having boy vibes..probably because that is what we were hoping for, but honestly, just a healthy baby is what we want. We'll find out in about 2 months what we are having. My scaredness (if that is a word) has totally turned into excitement! I'm really excited for the baby, I'm even excited to wear cute maternity clothes. Thanks to my friend Lisa, who had a billion very cute maternity shirts she gave me. I'm gonna be styling!!! I'll keep you all update on the baby and what is it question?

Loss of an old friend

Two weeks ago I got a really disturbing text from an old friend from college. A mutual friend that we knew from college was in the hospital. She told me that he just found out he was HIV positive and it had turned into AIDS..he had 1 day to live. I was in totally shock. It was 7 am in the morning when I received this text message, and I certainly couldn't sleep after that. I hadn't seen Terry since my friend (who told me about Terry) Steph's wedding in 2003. It had been a long time since I had heard from him, but within the last year found him on facebook. We had reconnected through facebook. He use to leave words of advice about my kids, even though he didn't have kids, but things that worked for his sisters and their kids.

Throughout that week, I thought about Terry constantly. He was so bad off by the point I found out, that he was on a ventilator, feeding tube and wasn't even conscience anymore. The disease had crept up on him and he didn't even know he had it. The doctors said he could of had it for almost 7 years. 7 years without knowing..without any medicine that could of let him live a normal life. It's just shocking.

Terry's life style had changed dramatically from when I knew him. He was a fun, energetic person and always had a smile on his face. Plus, he was always trying to find a hot women lol to mac on. I do mean MAC on. Apparently, his taste for women had subsided and he came out of the closet 3 years ago. He was celebrating life with his partner Tim.

Terry passed away on Oct 9th from complications of AIDS and pneumonia. He was only 33 years old. I will always remember Terry for his fun and playfulness. He always was happy, never down. He lived life. One memory, that we always joked about was when I was 18 and a freshman at Mount Union, a group of us, including Terry, had gone to his best friend Jess's parents house for a halloween party. Apparently, Jess's parents weren't keen on us staying the night, so we moved over to Terry's grandparents house. Six of us, slept in Terry's grandparents basement. In the morning, while everyone was sleeping, I wandered upstairs and chatted with his grandma and made pancakes with her. This memory Terry use to always bring up and we would laugh about. Terry never missed one of my Mount Union Dance Recitals. Terry and Jess came to everyone even up to senior year

Yesterday, I went to Terry's calling hours in Barberton with my friend Lisa. We were so nervous to go because we hadn't seen our old friends for 7-8 years..basically since college. When we walked in and started to talk to our old friends, things were like old times. We reminisced about Terry and all the good times. There were times I was present and didn't even remember them. I'm so glad we got to remember Terry yesterday all together. He was to young to pass away and especially from such an awful disease. A disease that if he only knew he had, could of been managed and controlled.

To Terry, thank you for the great memories and being such a great person to be around. You will be sadly missed.

(I had pictures I wanted to scan and post on here, but the scanner is not working. I hope to have some scanned and put up soon.)

Haley's Fish Tank

For Haley's big present this year, we got her a fish tank. She was so excited. Dave set it up on her birthday and we got her fish today. The second picture is Haley's fish Skittle. The last picture is my fish Sliver and Dave's fish Molly. Haley picked the fish out they are different breeds of "Molly" fish. This is our first fish tank so we are hoping all goes well. Dave already explained to Haley if the fish is floating face up..it's not good. I wasn't ready to do that....haha. I think the fish tank turned out awesome. I love the rocks. Haley picked out a turtle and the barrel thing is suppose to spit bubles out, but we have the wrong filter right now for that. Leah likes to point to the fish but we are afraid she'll start banging on the tank. I think she said "fishie" to. Wish us luck on our new adventure! :)

Haley's 5th Birthday Party

Haley had an awesome 5th Birthday Party on Saturday. Everything was perfect and no drama!! YEPPIEEE!!! Alot of people came we hadn't seen in forever to! Lyndsay did her cake again this year. Her theme was Princess and the Frog. The cake was great and so was the food. Haley had tons of fun with all her little friends. She got to play with Paris, Landon, Ember and Ava. Then later she played with her cousins. She got a ton of gifts..clothes, a band set (thanks Papa and May May alot haha), Barbie and the Fashion Fairytale movie, Maraduke, Dinosaur Leapster game, puzzles, lunch box, La La Loopsie doll, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue..that's all I can remember right now. She is such a lucky little girl. I didn't get a whole lot of pictures b/c I was so busy running around talking and chasing Leah. She had a great party though and was so happy for everything!

Haley's 5th birthday day!

Haley had a fun 5th birthday. I worked for 4 hours in the morning, so I told her she could open 1 present before I left. She got a new Sleeping Beauty doll. Her previous ones head fell off haha. We went and saw The Legend of the Guardians in 3D. Afterwards, we went to Pets Mart and she got to pick out her fish tank accesories. She picked a turle and a long with pretty bright flowers. Also, picked out fake plants that are different colors. We met her grandparents out at Olive Garden, but Haley had a slight incident there. She had ate to many twizlers at the movie and complained her tummy hurt. Well, needless to say the lobby of Olive Garden isn't where you wanted to be that night haha. She didn't want to stay after that so we left the grandparents to dine together for Haley's birthday. We came home and she got comfy in her pj's. While Dave set up her fish tank. She was fine 30 minutes later feeling as good as new. She opened her presents that night. She got a Rapunzel wig, a little Rapunzel Doll, puzzles, clothes, Barbie Fashion Fairy Tale...etc. She had a great Birthday!

Haley's 5th Birthday

We made cupcakes for Haley's Birthday for preschool on Wednesday. They were funfetti. Haley helped with all the ingredients and I did the frosting. They turned out so good. Leah enjoyed watching us, but got a little bored so decided to make funny face.

Fall day

Haley made a big pile of leaves to jump in on saturday. It was her first time jumping in leaves. We never got to do this in Va Beach b/c the leaves fell so late in the year. Also, b/c we never had huge tree's like we do in Ohio. This is defintely something we are glad to be back in Ohio for is the fall and the changing of seasons. Leah thought the leaf pile was pretty neat. She didn't want to coroporate for a picture but I did get her sneaking out of the leaves. Haley had a ton of fun jumping and throwing them everywhere.

Sleeping Issues...AGAIN

So, the day I said to myself, "Geez, I feel so rested!" I jinxed myself! Leah has been having horrible sleeping issues again which started in August. It's been about a month since it started. She will wake up in the middle of the night and be up for an hour or so and scream. Or, lately, she'll wake up 1 hour after going to bed and then be up for hours! Thank goodness, Dave is taking his turn on this one. I have been so exhausted from adjusting to working and stuff, that I could not handle Leah's new schedule. This picture is a from a few weeks ago when she wouldn't take a nap. So, I was home with Leah and Dave was watching football downstairs, and Haley was with my mom, and Leah decides she's tired and passes out on the floor. I couldn't help but laugh. I had seriously left the room for a minute and come back and there she is. We are actively working on her sleep issues. I plan to cure her this weekend since I'm off all weekend. Wish me luck!!
