Monkey Shirt

I had to take some things back for Haley on Friday and we ended up getting her this monkey shirt and butterfly jeans. She never saw it b/c she had fallen asleep while we were running around all day so when I put it on her yesterday she loves it! She kept going "hood on, monkey shirt!" I thought she looked so cute. She just kept saying "monkey shirt!" in the pictures. The shirt is a 3t and the pants are a 2t. The pants are huge on her. They are adjustable waist, but still huge in the waist. Does anyone else have that problem? I put a belt on her, but it's huge on her to. Does anyone know where to get toddler belts? We are in need of them! Anyway, I loved how she looked in it. Funny thing is, I realized that DAve is always in his chair in the background in a lot of the pictures I have been taking. I told him that yesterday haha. Normally he's not home enough to enjoy it, but he had the whole weekend off! IT was nice to have him home for so long.

Princess Table

Haley got a new princess table for Christmas from her Uncle Sam. She loves it. I thought it was such a great idea. I know that Ava has one and she has been eating at it. I thought this might really jump start her to feeding herself more. It has!! Thank God!! She has been very lazy about feeding herself. I don't know if it's b/c Haley isn't interested in many foods or eating in general. I know some kids love to eat, Haley is defintely not one of them. So, we set up this table the next day we came back (Thursday) and she has been eating at it ever since. She'll eat breakfast and lunch at it and feed herself!! I'm so happy about that. She can feed herself very well when she wants to. I still pick up a little of it at the end to finish off. She's been coloring at her table and playing with her toys. She loves it!! I'm so glad that "uncle sam" thought of it haha.

My first Computer

Haley got my first computer for Christmas from her Great Uncle Dale. It's by leapfrog. It has a keyboard and four games that are in the memory. She did really well with it. There's an ABC game, numbers game and I forget the other ones. She was doing the ABC one really well. She would push all the letters that we told her to push. She had a hard time finding some of them though. This computer is for 3-6 year olds. So, for her to get it sort of, is great I think! Dave set it up for her on Friday after are running around. He was having a fun time playing with her. She didn't understand how to use the mouse at all. I think that might be a little over her head at this point. She just wanted to play with it haha.

Princess Haley

We are back from our trip to Ohio. It was a long one, but good trip. I'll write more about it when I get my pictures from their here. I had forgotten to bring my camera so I borrowed my mom's the whole time we were there. So, she is sending me the picture on a cd. Thanks mom!

Haley go ta princess dress up trunk for christmas this year. She loves it. There is Belle, Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White. She will walk around with it on for while then want it off. It came with earrings and rings, but I think she is pretty little for those still.

Stockings and an update

We decided to do our stockings yesterday b/c I really wanted my present that was in there. Dave and Haley ran out to get Haley's gift to me yesterday. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoniex. They waited in a huge line at Circuit City to get my movie :) It made feel really good when we decided to open them up. I have been sick since Saturday. I have felt like doing nothing, but like Brit said on her blog, I'm a mom, I gotta keep going. Haley opened up her stocking without much help at all. I was so proud of her. We got her Shrek 1 and 2, a microphone that echos (she loves it, she started to say her ABC's in it first thing), a pumpkin shirt for next year, and a grover christmas tree ordament. Shrek is for the ride to Ohio. We are leaving on Friday and staying till the day after Christmas. I have had a sore throat and a sinus infection all week. The sore throat has finally went away, but the sinus infection is still here. I thought I might of had strep, but not sure. I couldn't even get into see a dr. It's a long story, but the military is stupid when it comes to medical stuff. They have no clue what they doing. There were no appts mon or tues. They didn't even have a schedule for weds. Very dumb. Anyway, it's been a while for posting b/c I have been so busy. I was watching Emily all week last week. That went really good. I found out that the girls did great in a double stroller. I ran around with both girls all week. I went to Kohl's and put them in a double stroller and they seriously had the time of their lives. Haley is such a the bad influence on Emily. She was making her sing Ariel and coerencing her to do things haha. It was fun to watch though. Haley is now singing Ariel like "ahhh ahhh" and then goes no louder! And starts singing super loud. I don't know where she got this personality from but I love it!!!! It makes me laugh the things she is coming up with doing. She drew on her baby yesterday and I was like, Haley you don't draw on your baby. She goes, "O tay, mommy." She is saying "otay!! haha I think it's hilarious. She's so easy going. I tell her no, and she's just is like "Otay, mommy" and goes off and plays something else. She is still practicing her Abc's and counting. She loves Charlie Brown. We have watched all the specials that have came on. She just loves Snoopy. I loved Snoopy when I was a little girl to. I still have my snoopy from when I was a little girl. It's very dirty and raggy but it's mine :) Dave came on on Monday and I was so glad. I missed him but furthermore, I was so sick I needed his help. Haley's not been sleeping well the last 4 nights. She has gotten up in the middle of the night 2 times at least or has not wanted to go to bed at bedtime. It's very frustrating to me when I'm sick and very tired. But, I can't complain when it comes to naps, she's doing great at them. Dave mentioned yesterday we should take the pacifier away from her in a couple of weeks. I hesitated after what happened last time. I don't know. I'm know I'm going to really try to potty train starting Jan. She is getting to the point telling me "poop" change or "pee pee" change. Well, that is a little update with us. I probably won't be updating until after our trip. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

House

Here's my house decorated for Christmas. Dave left last Sunday and my neighbor Carolyn helped me put things up. I love it!! I think I should of done it without the flash. I don't think I know how to do that though haha.

Ducks and running

I was getting really cooped up in the house by like 12 this afternoon. So, I decided to take the girls outside to feed the ducks. Yeah, that was a bad idea. The ducks started to run after us after we finshed feeding them. I had to grab both of the girls by their hands and run with them. Then I looked back and they were still chasing us, so I had to pick them both up and run! It was horrible. Then I went to tell my nieghbor what happened and they came around my van looking for me! They were coming towards us and we picked the girls up and she sent her dog Archie out to get the ducks. It literally scared the crap out of the dogs! haha! After that, we had the girls running back and forth from the houses. They had found huge leaves and were playing with them. Then they were looking at all the jets go bye. They were having a great time and got tired in the process!! Needless to say, they both had great naps today! 6 more days till Dave comes home again!

Snack time!

To be two again! What is better then apples and Elmo and a dora couch to sit on? Got me!

Ariel Tent!

Today starts a week of watching Emily again. Since our husbands are gone, Lin asked me to watch Emily this week. So, here's a fun picture of the girls in the Ariel tent. Haley loves when Emily is over. She's her best friend! They had a lot of fun together. I got a movie of them in the Ariel tent to, so I'll try to post it soon. I thought this one was a really cute picture they were both looking at me and Haley was smiling!!! What a surprise!!!

Stretch pants!

I think I took this on Thursday or Friday. I love this shirt of Haley's. I got this at Target for her birthday. I love the little black stretch pants. They were under her pumpkin costume this year. She doesn't wear stretch pants to often, but these kind of pants fit her really well! I should buy more. I never think of it. I realized either Haley's butt is not the same size as a normal 2 year old, or she has no butt! I swear even 24 month pants fall off her diaper booty! What's a girl to do!!

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Friday night, we went to Hannah's 2nd birthday party. Haley had a fun time there. I got to meet a lot of Kim's friends and family. Haley unfortunately was terrified of Kim's dad and father in law. I guess b/c they were men? I don't know. She has a real axiety when it comes to men. Hannah looked so cute in her little dress. Haley loves going over there to play with all the toys. The farmhouse she's playing with, I think Dave's parents are getting for her for Christmas. Hannah had an Elmo party with a Elmo cupcake cake. It was so cute! Haley enjoyed her cake very much. She was the last kid at the table eating it haha. Oh yeah, the little boy in the picture is Henry. That is Haley's new main squeeze. That is Kim's friend Suzan's 2 year old boy. Him and Haley are about 3 weeks apart. I guess Henry consantly talks about Haley. Haley likes to play the field when it comes to men haha. She hasn't seen Andy in a while. haha :)
