GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!

GUESS WHAT!!! Haley POOPED and PEED on the potty today!!! It was quite by accident I'm sure to! I went to Kmart, the post office, Target and Chick Filet with Haley. Well, I came home and had to use the bathroom. Well, she goes Potty, I go okay. So, I let her sit on her potty and she's reading her books, while I'm eating. Well, she runs off her potty like 10 mins later and I said ut oh, you better not pee pee on your couch. So, I checked to make sure she didn't. She didn't. So, I go into the bathroom and there is POOP and PEE sitting her potty! I was completely SHOCKED!! I was so excited!! It smelled HORRIBLY!!!! I was about to gag but I was very happy for her. We did a dance and she picked out two sesame street stickers from when we got them at the dr's. I tried to video tape her saying to daddy she went but she wasn't really into it at that point. She saw a fly swapper and wanted to play with that. Anyway, I'm very happy for her. I know this doesn't mean she'll start really doing it, but it's a start! Especially poo poo! I was just hoping for PEE PEE!!! She's showing Daddy her stickers she got for pee peeing and poo pooing on the potty. She recieve two stickers one for each thing she did. I thought it since she did two things, she get's to haha.

Well, this post is more for myself then Haley. I have been caring for Haley by myself for the last week and half. It's been okay most of the time, but we have had these days (like today) no nap and refusing to eat. Well, she'll eat breakfast then not eat anything else or barely anything the rest of the day. Today, I don't even think she ate much for breakfast, b/c Jersey likes to steal her toast in the morning. Anyway, point being, I need help getting her to eat REAL food. She'll eat anything breakfast wise, but when it comes to lunch or dinner she won't. The only thing for dinner is meatsticks and mac and cheese. I mean I can't keep giving her this. This evening I tried to give her a variety of mac and cheese, cheese ravoli and a toddler veg soup. She wouldn't eat anything. I thought at least the mac and cheese. Nope, NOTHING. I don't know if I'm getting frustrated b/c I'm just frustrated in general about the no nap, not eating and the whole POTTY word. It's been just a frustrating day. To make matters worse, I get a letter from the Ocean Lakes Association which is where we live. Well, the come around and "inspect" our property if we have weeds in our cracks or landscaping if our garbage can is away etc. It's really stupid. Well, I get a letter that there is trash around our part of the lake and we have till friday to pick it up. I'm like WHAT! I was furious. I called the Association and they told us it's the homeowners responsibility. I said I looked outside and there is NO trash in our property, but trash IN THE LAKE. There is no way I'll be getting in the lake to get the trash. So, I called our rental property lady and she said she got a notice and will be getting back to us to see what they can do. I'm so upset about it. I hope my husband comes home early, like tomorrow would be great. I guess I'm lonely to. It's hard when you only have a toddler that knows enough words to tell you what she wants and dog that doesn't talk to hang out with. Well, this made me feel better. But, yes, if ANYONE can help, if they see an article online or anything about toddlers who don't eat, send it my way. THANKS!!!!!

Pool Time with Andy..

Yesterday, my neighbor had asked if I could watch Andy while she cut our grass. I don't cut grass, which I think I have already mentioned. Anyway, she doesn't mind doing. So, I watched Andy for her for 2 hours while she did that. The kicker was Haley slept the whole time! So, once Haley was up she was going to take him home. I told her to go rest and I'll watch him for a bit longer. I got out the pool and they played in the pool. The only thing about the pool is they get so much grass in it. I can't stand that. They just don't sit and play they keep getting in and out. So, I was cleaning in out with the sifter thing from her sand toys haha. They had a great time. I think they kept drinking the water. They were playing with cups and had them to their mouths. I hoped they didn't. They insisted the lawn mowers went in the water to. I like the last picture b/c both of them are looking at me. Haley NEVER looks at the camera anymore.

The aftermath...

Well, after their bath, they were incredible hyper. They both had run naked into the room and Emily pushed the sit and spin music. Well, that started them on this wild 1/2 hour of dancing, laughing and screaming. It was so much fun. Emily is normally really reserved but she was a crazy baby after the bath. I think some of Haley might of rubbed off on her! I was able to tackle both babies to get diapers on them at least. (No pee pee on the floor, thank goodness!!) I got some great action shots of the to. First couple are of them dancing. Then the one with the pomp pomp is the funny. Haley got that the day Dave came home. She always picks it up and say's "Da Da!". That was what we were shouting with it on the pier. Well, Emily picks it up and they are shouting "Da Da!" and hilariously laughing. Well, I got there clothes on after like 20 minutes of dancing and laughing. Haley loves to go in her clothes and closet he doors. Then opens them up and laughs hysterically. Well, Emily thought that was hilarious. So, she got in their with Haley. So, I got a picture of them opening it up. It was such a fun day over all. I have a couple more pictures of them throughout the week and Haley pictures I'll post.

Bathtime

Thursday, I watched Emily all day for Lindsay. It went pretty well. Haley was in desperate need of a bath, so I told Lin I would give Emily one to. Well, it turned into ME getting completely soaked. It was hilarious though. These to little monkey's were having so much fun. They were in the bath for probably a good 10 mins then Haley started to splash. Then Emily saw she was doing it and started to. It was pretty fun. There was water EVERYWHERE!!! At least they got clean!

We did it!!

Haley went potty today finally! I'm so excited. I had a good feeling about today. I sat her on like twice this evening and after moving from the big one, she went to the little one and did a trickle. Then we sat a bit more and she did a lot! I was so excited. We danced around and laughed. She said "Da Da!" She wanted him to know she did it. (HE's been gone for the passed week out to sea. He won't be back till friday or saturday.) I called all the family and told them. Haley got an elmo sticker for going.
I'm having trouble getting her to go down tonight after an almost 3 hour nap. It's nearly midnight. This is the third attempt. I'm pretty tired. Wish me luck...

My week with Emily

All week I have been watching Emily for Lindsay for her first week at work. We have been have a pretty good time. Emily is a good baby. It's basically just like watching two of Haley haha. They get along great and just play separately and together. There nap schedules have been working out wonders!! Em takes a nap a little bit early then Haley does, so I have at least a half hour 45 mins to myself before Em gets up. Well, today it's been an hour and half so far. Very nice. We have been doing potty time, movie time, outside time, water fun time and chalk time. Emily loves the chalk. She carries it around like a purse. Haley tries to share her couch with Em, but most of the time only if there is food will she sit with her. Emily went on the potty for me yesterday. I was so excited. Haley is still refusing to do anything. Haley is also having a picky eating thing going on. She may not even eat a some points. I'm kind of frustrated with it. I know eating will come in time. My sister in law Lori did remind me that his nephews are pretty picky and so are we will food. I just hope when she gets a little older I can really introduce REAL food to her. Other then the food issue and still no potty, we have been having a great week. I have been extremely tired this week. It's not for watching these to monkey's though. I'm waking up to early. Haley was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night on tues. I think she just couldn't fall back to sleep. I tried everything and finally rocking her like a baby got her to sleep. It's difficult to when your by yourself and don't get a break. I'm lucky my REALLY nice neighbor is helping me out during the evenings sometimes. She'll watch Haley for a couple of mins then I'll watch Andy. Well I hear Emily up, I better go get her. I'm watching her till 8 tonight.

Fun with Andy.

Yesterday, Sunday, my neighbor Suzi and I had Haley and Andy play together. This is the first time them playing together in the backyard. They played so well together. It's the first time I saw Haley really playing with another kid, not just playing beside them. She loves Andy and he loves her. The picture of Andy here I told him to smile and that is what I got that face. I cracked up! Haley and Andy are always giving each other hugs or kisses. I caught Haley in the act of giving him a kiss. Not sure how Dave will feel about the kissing haha. It's cute though. This evening I couldn't get Haley to eat her mac and cheese b/c she wanted to play with Andy. I guess I can say she has her first boyfriend. That is scary to think!!!

HARRY POTTER DAY!!!!!!

Yes, the day has finally came for the 7th book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to come out. WE got up super early and were over to Lindsay's by 8 a.m. sharp to get the book. We had to stop at Starbucks to reguvnate Lindsay on the walk to Barns and Nobles to stand in line for our book. We were the 8th people in line when we got there. It was awesome!! I was so excited. WE took some fun pictures while waiting. I finished the book on sunday around 1 pm. I read all day saturday and sunday morning. Excellant book! The babies did great for us waiting, but glad we only waited about 45 mins b/c they were starting to get restless. That is why Haley has her pacifier in. We try to only give it to her for naptime or night time.

I thought I would post this b/c I thought it was pretty funny. I was doing something and came in and looked in on Haley. SHe's sitting on her couch with her hat on. Mind you I have no idea where this hat came from, but thought it was funny she had to wear it watching her shows.

My potty

Yes, Haley is sitting on the potty, but NO she is not doing anything. We sit on the potty about 3 times a day, and she still haven't done a thing on it. I'm a little frustrated, but not really at the same time. Sunday morning she drank all her OJ and hadn't gone in her diaper. Well, I put her on the potty her elmo seat and her little potty, nothing. She sat on there for a good 10 mins on both. Well, she gets up and runs out of the bathroom on to her couch. Then laying down pee's!! I was like WHAT! So, I wanted to wash her couch, but I couldn't get the thing unzipped. So, I scrubbed it really well and blew it dry with the hair dryer haha. I didn't know what else to do. I'm hoping sometime soon Haley will join the other "pee peer's" on the potty. Her favorite book for the potty is Biscuit and Prudence's book about the potty.

Haley's shoe obssession

Haley LOVES to walk around in everyone's shoes. She particularly likes dave's. Who know's why. She was trying to jump in them. She was saying "2, 3" and then jumping. WEll, sort of jumping. She still can't get off the ground. We are working on that one haha. Haley is doing great with her counting. She can count to 10 and repeat the ABC's to me. She also knows her colors. Sometimes she'll still say brown for purple or something, but most of the time she gets them right the first time.
