December 7th 2006
It's been a while since I updated Haley's site. I kind of gave up on the posting of the pictures, but fortunately Brit and Heidi's parents are so nice they offered to let me post on their computer. So, I will probably take up their offer sometime next week. I want to beable to maintain Haley's site. I have less then 5 months until we have our own house again and cable internet!! yeah!! Anyway, Haley is doing great. She is learning new things everyday. Her favorite things right now are to bark like dog haha. Okay, that is funny, but very cute. She always see's the dog's and goes ruf ruf. I taught her that thank you very much :) Her other favorite things are to play with her baby dolls, she feeds them her sippy cup or holds them and pats them. She still loves all her books, especially her Little Word Book. She learned to do stretch, dance, wave, kiss, hug, laugh and I'm working on curl up small. She just laughs at me when I do that. She is totally off the bottle. My mom finally listened to me and my idea worked. I changed the sippy cup she normally takes during the day and get her a different one at night. After a couple of nights it worked! I don't get to put Haley to bed to often though. I work the 4 to 12 shift now. It's not to bad though. I see Haley all during the day before work. Anyway, She was off it the week of Thanksgiving. Now, I have to work on the pacifier. She loves that thing to much. Now, she knows where we keep it and goes over and goes "uh uh" like she wants it. She is brushing her teeth on her own now. Well, I brush them, and let her brush them by herself. I try to brush my teeth at the same time to show her how to do it. She just laughs at me. I have sat Haley on the potty a couple of times recently. She just laughs and sings and dances back in forth. She think it's so fun to sit like a big girl. I gotta ask Daddy, but I think we should get her a potty soon. She might be a early one. We'll see though. Haley responds when you say things to her like "Are you hungry?" or "Do you want some milk" or "Do you want to brush your teeth?" she knows what all that stuff means. She goes "yeah, yeah." I love it when she does that. The main thing at this point is she loves her baby videos. These four videos Fisher Price made. They are a god send!! I recommend them to anyone. Haley will sit for a good 30 minutes watching these videos and either fall asleep on me or just sit in her bean bag chair or on the floor and watch them. She is also VERY big into Sesame Street. She LOVES it. I believe Elmo is her favorite. I enjoy Sesame Street to, so I don't even mind watching him. Cookie Monster cracks me up!! Haley misses her da da so much. She calls all phones Da Da and kisses Da Da's picture all the time. She loves him and wants him to come home soon. Well there is a little update. I hope to get pictures on soon!! Bye for now! :)

November 12

Hello..Well, still no luck at the picture posting. I haven't had time to convince my mother more about cable internet. I have been working a lot and taking care of Haley. It's really hard being a working mom of a one year old that is teething! Haley is doing much better at the crankiness factor. She is still cranky off and on, but that is to be expected. She is sleeping much better and much later then she had been. Thank the lord!! I couldn't take the 7 a.m. wakings much longer. She is going to bed at her normal time 10 or a little before. My daughter doesn't need as much sleep as a normal baby, and never has. I guess I just got lucky haha. She has been rebelling against her naps as of late. She doesn't take a nap until afternoon time. That nap is normally an hour or hour and half. She'll take little cat naps in the car if we are in there long enough during the day, but other then that the afternoon one is it. So, my mom is having a lot of fun with her in the evenings if she doesn't take on at all. Haley has learned new words. She is clearly saying ball, hi, bye, momma, and dadda. The words that she has said recently are picture, puppy and dog. I'm trying to go through her picture book all the time to show her new pictures. My mom said she has said bad dog. Go figure why?? haha. I think I heard her say it today. She now thinks everything is a baby or dadda. She calls most pictures Da da. She's fitting in her 18 month clothes really well. I'm going to get her all 24 months for Christmas stuff. Well..that's the update for Haley. I'm going to keep trying with the pictures. Have a great day everyone!

The latest Update.

Hi Everyone, I'm still not able to post pictures of Haley. I'm still working on the problem. I hope to have cable internet here soon. I'm going to beg my mother to allow me to get it. I even offered to pay for it! Anyway, here's a little Haley update. Haley has been very crank off and on for the last two weeks. I just summed it up to teething. Well, I was defintely right. Little miss Haley didn't go to bed until almost 1 a.m. last night and got up again at 4:30 and stayed up till around 5, then up again at 8 a.m. It was along night last night. My mom, thankfully, offered to get up with her then, and let me go back to sleep for awhile. Well, mom decided to stick her finger in Haley mouth and guess what! She has a 1 year old molar in the back of her mouth. So, that makes all the sense of the world now why she has been so fussy lately. I stuck my finger in to feel to, and felt the tooth and another molar coming in on the other side. What fun we have in store for us!!
I got a couple of pictures with Haley's Halloween costume on yesterday. She ended up falling asleep around 5:30 last night and didn't wake until trick or treat was almost over! So, she didn't get to go trick or treating. I hope next year she will beable to go.
We have heard from Daddy every couple of days. He is doing okay right now. They had a fun trip to Naples and Rome, Italy and then the Island of Cyprus. He is now on his way out to the Gulf I believe. I just hope he is safe.
I feel so bad I haven't been able to post pictures. I really hope I can remedy this problem very soon! It's getting late so I must get to sleep! Good night everyone!

Haley's first year appt.

Hey everyone, I still can't post pictures for some reason. But, Haley had her 1 year appt and she weighed 22 lbs 12 oz's and was 32 inches long. Her weight was in the 50 to 75 % range and her height was in the 97 % range. She should offically be off the bottle by now, but opps, she still has two a day. I will be taking her off pretty soon though. She does wonderful with the sippy cup. She cried so hard when she had her shots today. I felt so bad. She had three shots and a blood test. Then they wanted to give her a flu shot and an iron test. I'm like uh..to much! She overall did very well. The dr. gave the okay on any kind of food for her to eat. Get this, she doesn't have to drink anymore milk for the rest of her life if I don't want her to. Yeah, I thought that was odd, but I guess dr. knows best :) I'll keep working on getting the pictures up, if not, I might have to go to someone's house and try. Wish me luck!!!

Hello, It's been a couple of weeks since I posted because we have been moving. I'm trying to get all the pictures together that I want to post. I tried to post them tonight and they aren't posting. I'm back at my mom's and she has dial up. I don't know why it's not working. I'll keep trying though. Just bare with me for the next couple of days. :)

I started taking some pictures of Haley yesterday just doing her own thing. She just looked really cute. She loves her sippy cups. She gets so excited when she see's one. I have just been letting her drink them while she is playing. These ones I only put water in, so she doesn't get it all over her. They are really nice though because they don't spill. Her handle ones are always leaking on her. So, I pretty much stopped those ones. She does so well without the handles she doesn't need them. These are just some action shots of her. She is such an explorer. She always wants to get into something. I wanted to take plenty of fun pictures because Daddy's been gone for the last week and half. He's coming home today though. We're just awaiting his call. I thought of something cute she did today. She was in her crib and I was peeking around the door way and she started to play peek a boo with me. She would hide her face and look through the crack of the door at me. It was pretty funny. She is getting to be so smart. She even helps me put her clothes on now. Before it was such a struggle. What a big girl she's getting to be. Not much longer until she is the BIG 1 !! I'm sending out invites to her party. It will be on her birthday Oct 8th :)

My funny baby!

Haley is so funny sometimes. I was sitting on the floor with her and trying to take a picture and she just puts her arms up like the "so big". It was hilarious! Then she just sat there and smiled for the camera. She is so cute. Her hair is a bit crazy today. I decided no bow today. I did do a little experiment on her hair. I tried to cut a tiny bit in the front to see if it would grow. We'll see if it works. I just want her hair to grow. It's getting much thicker but not growing long. I'm thinking her hair will be like mine. It grows so slow!!

My little Munchkin

Here's my little munchin playing around with her toys on monday morning. She is so cute. These were another set of pj's I got a couple of months ago from the consinement stores. They are alittle bit big so I had to roll the pants, but they keep coming unrolled. They are alittle bit heavier then the other ones. It's been only like 70 here during the day the last couple of days, so it's been getting a bit colder at night. I don't think it's bothering Haley though.

Happy 11 months !!

Happy 11 months old Haley!! Today Haley turned the big 1-1 in months. It's funny because I must of been not paying attention to the date today because I forgot to take a picture of her on her 11 month birthday. What a bad mom! So, I just remembered so I thought I would take one while she was asleep for the night. She was kind of cranky before she went to bed. She wouldn't take her bottle so I decided to just lay her down and let her get her energy out and try again. Well, I looked in on her a couple of minutes later and she was asleep. I don't know if it was lucky me or not. I just hope she won't be awake in the middle of the night now. We'll see!! Oh yeah, she does have red socks on. She had her watermelon outfit on today. I just didn't change her socks. She just looks so peaceful and innocent in this picture. Pacifier and all! :)

Another Day at the Beach

Another day at the beach for Miss Haley Baby. This was on Labor Day while Dave's parents were here for the weekend. I decided to put her in the chair and she had a blast in it. She got so excited. That is her new hat that grandma V. bought her. Haley has so many grandma's that I started calling Dave's step-mom Patty grammy. It just easier to distinguish. The last picture is Haley and her "Grammy" (Patty). Haley kept trying to walk on the sand and hang onto the umbrella. She was making me nervous!!

Family pictures

I thought I would post a couple of pictures from Walmart where we got our family picture taken. I didn't want to post the family one because most of you will be getting one. I'll do it once I passed them out. I want them to be a surprise. We also took a couple of Haley by herself, which Dave came up with a really good idea. So, I'm going to keep those off here to for now. Everyone will see soon enough what going to happen with those. We are going to be very secretive hehe. I thought I would post the one of Dave and I to. This girl at Walmart was crazy. She just talked a mile a minute and wouldn't stop talking. She talked about her son who's a month younger then Haley walking at 8 months and crawling at 4 months. I was like um...yeah. haha. She wouldn't stop talking. She did a good job of making Haley smile though. I was happy overall. Hope you all enjoy!

A very pooped baby!

So, after all the excitement of the day pulling stunt number 1 and 2 and going to shopping with mommy. We went to Kohl's and she was waving and saying "hi" and "bye" to everyone she saw. Anyway, Haley was a pooped baby! Once Daddy came home she defintely was ready for a nap, but didn't want to take one. So, we let her play herself to sleep in her crib. It's the only way she'll go down for a nap when she won't let us rock her or just sit with us. She must of been in middle of playing with her book when she fell asleep. This was how I saw her when I came to check on her. I wait until I don't hear her moving around or talking, then I check on her. It was so funny. She had her leg out of the crib and her book in her hand above her head. She never sleeps on her back either. She is either on her side or stomach. She was majorly pooped. She slept for a good two hours after this to.

Stunt #2

This was stunt number two for the day. I went into the kitchen to make a sandwhich really quick. I looked back into the family room and didn't see Haley. I look over and she is on the couch peaking over looking at me and smiling! I was in shock! You know what she did...she turned over her kitchen got up on her kitchen and climbed on the couch. I still don't know how she did that. She is getting to be a smart little girl. I was afraid she would fall so this was the only picture I got of her doing this stunt.

My new shoes!

After Haley got dressed for the day, we were going to go to Kohl's. So, I thought she could wear her new tennis shoes. She is just getting use to standing and walking with them. She still is kind of unstable. She would rather play with them then walk with them haha.

Adventurous Day..stunt 1

This was the start to a busy day for Haley. Thursday morning I went in kitchen to wash her bottle and I looked back in the family room and I saw Haley doing this. She had flipped her kitchen over and was standing on it. She was trying to climb onto the end table. This was just the start of her adventurous day.

"So Big"

"So BIG!" Dave taught Haley to do that with her arms last week. She is so smart!! :)
This second picture here is was walking from her walker to her kitchen and she looked up after she got there. I was trying to get her walking, but she is to quick.



"What's That!" Dave swears Haley can say that. She is pointing at the TV. She loves the show "Charmed" in the mornings. It might be because her mommy loves it to haha. Both my children here posed for the camera. Don't ask me how I got them both to sit there.

"Bye!" Haley is waving bye to Charmed on TV haha. She say's it now and say's "Hi". It's a total random times sometimes and sometimes it's on que. It's amazing. Haley has been playing with Jersey more to Jersey's liking of course. Haley crawls away from her and Jersey chases after her. Haley really enjoys Jersey's tail. She has been getting ahold of it more and more lately. Jersey isn't sure what she is doing.

This last picte Haley is standing on her own. She has stood on her own for probably a minute here and there. She just lets go stands and then either falls or walks. I think she is going to be walking on her own before her daddy leaves. I at least hope she will be. He wants her to walk so bad before he leaves. That is her Navy bear she was walking around the furniture with it this morning.

Sunday afternoon 8/27/06

All these were taken on Sunday afternoon. We were just playing around with the camera. I was trying to get some action shots of Haley and just get some nice ones with Dave and Haley and Haley and I. I like the last one here because she's doing the "So Big", but looking at me. She just looks so cute. The two with Dave came out so nice. She has such a great smile with them. It's so hard to catch her smile with the camera anymore. She'll smile big and then turn her head. That is why I don't have a lot of pictures with her smiling. She does smile and giggle and talk a lot.









Haley is trying to grab the camera in this one. It came out pretty funny though. Her finger is the black smug.

This one is Haley in action walking. Well, sort of. She is standing there, but she walks around the entire circle here carrying things. Like a water bottle, or a toy. It's so cute.
